Perform direct patient care duties including rooming and frequent phlebotomy in a multi-specialty clinic. Balance clinical tasks with administrative duties such as registration, scheduling, and EMR maintenance.
Requires a high school diploma, graduation from a Medical Assistant program, and a current MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or CMAC). Must hold an AHA Basic Life Support certification and possess knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, ADA, and ICD-10/CPT coding.
