The Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care services, including the oversight, preparation, and dispensing of patient medication therapy. They are also responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws while advising physicians on medication utilization.
Candidates must hold a Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy and a current registered pharmacist license in the State of Florida. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, with hospital experience and board certification preferred.
The Staff Pharmacist provide pharmaceutical care services to the patients including, but not limited to oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy as well as providing drug information, patient information and oversight of information and dispensing systems.
