Medical Assistant (Full Time) - Dr. Hume

Full Time Medical Assistant needed for busy spine surgeon in South OKC

Responsibilities

• Room patients
• Obtain vitals, initial reason for visit and documenting patients in EHR
• Administer injections and perform X-Rays
• Scan documentation into EHR while maintaining efficient patient flow throughout clinic
• The Medical Assistant will also assist with triage calls, medication authorizations and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience with Electronic Health Records (Epic) a plus
• Must be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities while working well in a team environment and exhibiting a strong work ethic
• Applicant must be reliable, have excellent people skills and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• High School graduate or equivalent required (GED)
