Job Details The Clinical Express Admissions Department, located in the Christiana Hospital, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse.
The Clinical Express Admissions Department (CEAD) is a medical unit with telemetry, designed to decompress the Emergency Department after patients receive an admitting order.
Patients may be admitted to the CEAD from Christiana Newark, Wilmington, and Middletown Emergency Departments.
Nurses are responsible for admission work and care progression until an available bed is ready on an inpatient unit.
The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in medical/surgical nursing, practice autonomously to anticipate patient needs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when patient conditions change, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit adaptability with high patient turnover.
BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years from date of hire. Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in acute care. BLS required, ACLS preferred (must be willing to obtain after hire) Hours: This is a part-time night shift position of 12-hour shifts, 7p - 7:30 a.m. Every third weekend, Rotating holidays.

Range: $41.28 - $66.05 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
