Baptist Health is looking to add a highly motivated and skilled Medical Technical Specialist to join our team working in the Core Lab at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.
This is a full-time, day shift position.
This candidate must hold a valid Medical Technologist - Generalist license in the State of Florida before hire.
As a Medical Technical Specialist, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Coordinating daily operational activities in specialty section.
Assisting with development of new policies and procedures and coordinates quality control and quality assurance programs.
Acting as a technical resource for instrument operation or other technical areas.
Experience Requirements: 3-5 years Medical Technologist Experience Education & Credentials Requirements: Associate's Degree Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred Certified Medical Technologist (MT) Preferred Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Preferred Licensed Medical Technologist Required Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technician Required License note: Candidates licensed prior to 1997 are not required to have certification per the State of Florida Licensure Rules.
