The Ophthalmic Technician performs preliminary testing, documents medical histories, and manages patient flow. They are also responsible for preparing patients for procedures and scribing for physicians to ensure high-quality care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of medical field experience. Experience in ophthalmology and proficiency in ocular testing techniques are preferred.
