Must be a graduate of a nursing program with a valid Washington State RN license and AHA BLS certification by October 2026. Candidates must be able to start the residency program on October 26, 2026.
$48.21 - $87.11 per hour
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. EvergreenHealth's Residency Program consists of group practicums and lectures that support the graduate RN to mitigate the education-to-industry gap. We foster growth in the clinical, professional, and transitional aspects of professional nursing practice. The Residency program incorporates collaborative team support by managers, preceptors and clinical nurse educators. RN Residents are required to have an active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license and a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS card by start date of October 26th, 2026. Must be able to start program on October 26th 2026. Provide direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate. Assess the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients. Coordinate the patient and family/significant other education process. Continuously plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process. Participate with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care. Communicate effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way. Communicate and document changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
