The PTA provides physical therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist to restore patient functioning and prevent disability. They also participate in departmental operational aspects, including safety programs and continuous quality improvement activities.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an associate degree. A valid license to practice in the State of Ohio and current BCLS certification are required.
