Provide safe, direct personal care and monitoring for home health and hospice patients in their homes. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and maintain accurate documentation according to regulatory standards.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 75 hours of Nurse Aide training. Must possess a valid driver's license, automotive insurance, and CPR/BLS certification.
High School Diploma or GED - Required One (1) year of experience - Preferred Certified Nurse Aide - Preferred Minimum of 75 hours of Nurse Aide training - Required. If no previous nurse aide training, applicant may attend UPMC Home Healthcare Nurse Aide Training Course as available upon hire.
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire Automotive Insurance Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Driver's License
