Requires an active Michigan RN license along with BLS and ACLS certifications. A BSN is preferred, and 2 years of pre-operative or post-anesthesia experience is desired.
Michigan Surgical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Registered Nurse for our PACU/Pre-Op department. This position is located entirely at our Utica office, operating within a high-energy, fast-paced surgery center that specializes in performing advanced urological procedures. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will handle the assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination of care during the critical pre- and post-operative phases. Position Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN is preferred. Licensure/Certifications: Active RN license in the state of Michigan. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
2 years of pre-operative/post-anesthesia experience preferred; background or familiarity with urological procedures is a plus.

The ASC Registered Nurse – PACU is an essential member of the health care team who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating the care of patients in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN consistently delivers high-quality patient care during the pre- and post-operative phase of the patient’s stay in the surgery center.
Requirements: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
RN license and certification as required by state. BLS certification required, ACLS required.
