Responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care for surgical patients. This includes managing the patient experience from preoperative intervention through postoperative evaluation.
Requires a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing, a valid New Jersey RN license, and at least 2 years of OR experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, while a BSN and CNOR certification are preferred.
This position is responsible for the planning, executing, directing and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care given to the surgical Patient. This nursing care ranges from preoperative intervention to postoperative evaluation. It is a practice designed to meet a patient’s needs through the nursing process, ensuring continuity of care during the surgical experience.
