Provide general nursing care and medical support for adult men in a residential substance abuse treatment program. Responsibilities include monitoring withdrawal symptoms, administering medications, and facilitating community groups to ensure client stabilization.
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) currently licensed in Virginia. A minimum of two years of experience in addictions or psychiatric nursing is required.
National Capital Treatment & Recovery is a respected nonprofit behavioral health organization with over 60 years of service offering residential and outpatient care for people with substance use disorders. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Adult Men's Residential Treatment Program in Arlington, VA.
Two part-time shifts available: 8am-4pm Fri-Sun every other weekend or 4pm-12am Fri-Sun every other weekend
$30-35 an hour with an opportunity to earn more based on experience, degrees, and other relevant qualifications.
The program is a 64-bed residential program that offers medically monitored and clinically managed intensive residential treatment services for adult men with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This intensive residential program helps break the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse and equips men with the tools needed to be successful at the next appropriate level of care. As an LPN on our team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, person-centered care during one of the most critical phases of treatment. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team—providing medical support, monitoring withdrawal symptoms, administering medications, and helping clients stabilize in a supportive, structured environment. Qualifications: Currently licensed in Virginia as an LPN Minimum of two years experience in addictions/psychiatric nursing
