Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and adolescent psychiatric patients, assessing mental status and initiating appropriate interventions
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and identify adverse effects; document changes accurately
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans; apply de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic EMR and manage Pyxis medication dispensing as required
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when assigned, coordinating care delivery and ensuring patient safety
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage per assignment requirements

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license
• BLS certification
• Epic EMR and Pyxis competency
• Inpatient Behavioral Health experience preferred
• CPI training preferred
• Availability to start on 07/20/2026; able to work a 3x12-hour night schedule with every other weekend and every other holiday; willingness to take on on-call hours as scheduled
