Assists physicians in the examination and treatment of patients, including obtaining vital signs and performing routine diagnostic tests. Manages patient records, sterilizes medical instruments, and handles clerical tasks such as scheduling and inventory.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a medical assistant training program may be required for this classification.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
