Responsible for provision of Advanced Practice Provider services, including assessment and management of patients across all clinical settings, (examples: ambulatory clinic, hospital, assisted living facility, skilled nursing facility/nursing home, ambulatory surgery center, and community settings), within the scope of licensing, training, and credentialing dependent on specialty.

Diagnose and treat a broad range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medication management and therapeutic interventions.
Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychotropic medications in accordance with Virginia regulations and clinical best practices.
Provide ongoing follow-up care, including symptom management, treatment monitoring, and medication education.
Collaborate closely with primary care providers to support integrated patient care and address behavioral health needs within the primary care setting.
Coordinate referrals to specialty behavioral health services, counseling, substance use treatment, and community resources as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a patient-centered, team-based care environment.
Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Current or eligible Virginia Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licensure. DEA registration and prescriptive authority eligibility. Minimum of 2–3 years of psychiatric practice experience preferred. Ability to practice independently and manage a diverse outpatient psychiatric patient panel. COMPENSATION Tiered base salary plus a productivity (wRVU)-based incentive model.
