Position Highlights: Quality vs. quantity – typically see 14 to 16 patients per day Instead of RVU or volume metrics, our physicians are measured and rewarded on quality of care (physicians earn $50,000 bonus, paid semi-annually) Start with 184 hours PTO in first year, plus 5 days for CME, and the clinics are closed for 8 national holidays plus 1 floating holiday Strong clinical support team that includes NPs, PAs, RNs, LVNs, MAs, scribes, nurse educators, case managers, clinic administrators, referral managers, coders, centralized scheduling, nurse advice line, and robust IT Collaborate with our primary care physicians (IM & FM), hospitalists, and network of employed/contracted sub-specialists What makes an Optum Career different?

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S. Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency A working understanding and support of a managed care environment Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $237,500 - $384,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
