The RN provides professional care to PACU patients by implementing nursing processes, developing care plans, and ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate efficient admissions and discharges.
Candidates must be a Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois with a Bachelor's degree or Nursing Diploma. A BLS certification from the AHA and at least one year of RN experience are required.
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the utilization of the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial and human resources within the philosophy of the institution.
