The role involves obtaining patient demographic and financial information to create medical records and collecting patient liabilities. Additionally, the associate performs physician-ordered diagnostic tests, including lab work and EKGs.
Candidates should have experience in admissions and insurance, along with a phlebotomy certification or one year of experience. Proficiency in computer literacy and effective English communication is required.
Obtains accurate demographic, financial and clinical information and enters into the computer system to create the medical and financial record. Applies financial guidelines to determine/collect patient liability. Performs physician requested labwork and EKGs, industry pre-employment drug screens. Performs other duties as assigned.
