Assist Neuro-interventionalists, Cardiologists, and Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Provide exceptional patient care while scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during invasive neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures.
AA/BA/BS degree in Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology is required along with ARRT Registry or RCIS certification. Two years of related clinical experience is preferred, along with current CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Hourly $52.80 - $83.26 Overlake is currently seeking an Interventional Neuro/Angio Technologist to assist Neuro-interventionalists, Cardiologists and Radiologists in the various diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology and Cath lab. Their mission is to provide exceptional patient care, as well as scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during invasive neurovascular and interventional radiology procedures. We are looking for a dedicated team member with outstanding clinical skills and preferred lab experience, who has the ability to multitask, stay organized and deliver excellent care in an efficient and compassionate manner. Invasive Vascular Services provides care for patients having angiograms with or without stent placement (cardiac, vascular, and cerebral including various complex neurointerventional procedures such as aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, carotid artery stenting, intracranial stenting and thrombectomy). In addition, care is provided in IR for patients such as nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation and port placement. The procedural area has 6 rooms and operates Monday-Friday between 0600 and 1730. All shifts are 10 hours. After hours and weekends are covered by the call team. Full-Time 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week 10 Hour Shift / Days - includes call shifts for urgent cases - covering off hours (overnight & weekend) $15,000 sign-on bonus new hire with experience
AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program required. ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) required, OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS) is required. If registry eligible, must obtain applicable registration within ninety days of hire. Current healthcare provider CPR certification is required upon hire. Current ACLS is also required. Two years of related clinical experience preferred. Previous cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology/electrophysiology experience preferred. 24 CME credits required bi-annually.
