Provides technical support to pharmacists by preparing unit doses, managing data entry, and ensuring the accurate distribution of medications. Responsible for maintaining automation technology, auditing controlled substances, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requires a High School Diploma, an active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License, and certification from the PTCB or NHCA. Candidates must have at least one year of pharmacy work experience and proficient computer keyboarding skills.
