Administer and monitor anesthesia for pediatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop care plans and provide post-operative follow-up consultations.
Requires an MD or DO degree from an accredited school and completion of an Anesthesiology residency. Must hold a valid medical license in Virginia and possess board certification.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and comfort of our young patients undergoing surgical procedures. Working closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while delivering high-quality anesthetic care in a supportive environment.
Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients for various surgical procedures Monitor patients’ vital signs and ensure their safety during anesthetic procedures Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to establish patient care plans Evaluate patients' medical histories and assess their suitability for anesthesia Provide post-anesthesia care and follow-up consultations Educate patients and their families about anesthesia processes and safety measures Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and pediatric care Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology Valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a medical team Compassionate attitude towards patient care Basic understanding of pediatric health issues and anesthesia protocols Willingness to learn and contribute positively to a fast-paced environment
Schedule: 7:00a-3:30p, 7:00a-5:00p, or 7:00a-7:00p
