Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Radiology

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments and history-taking prior to radiological procedures Assist radiologists in interpreting imaging studies and results Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients Document patient interactions and maintain accurate health records Provide patient education regarding procedures, results, and follow-up care Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Stay current with advancements in radiology practices and technologies Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions

Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant Experience in radiology or a related field preferred Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Knowledge of relevant medical software and technology

Schedule: Monday–Sunday 7 on/7 off

Shift Times: 5p–12a

Duties: Light IR procedures, including paras, thoras, and biopsies

Support Team: Hybrid DX team

Must be board-certified
