• We are a family-centered, pediatric subspecialty Ambulatory Surgical Center located in Pasadena, providing complex care for children with orthopedic conditions.
• Job Overview The Medical Assistant supports the medical and nursing staff in providing care and comfort to infant, toddler, preschool, school-age, adolescent, and young adult patients during outpatient clinic appointments by performing routine clinical and clerical tasks.
• In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts.
• This position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eligible.
• The pay range for this position is $24.23 - $34.20/hour.
• Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.

Collect and report data to assist the multidisciplinary team in the evaluation of patient needs Performs a variety of comprehensive registration and scheduling functions Demonstrate open, accurate and timely communication with patients, families and interdisciplinaryteam members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. Qualifications

Required: Medical Assistant Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
