Provide surgical technology support within the Urology Main OR, including passing instruments and managing heavy instrument sets. Ensure patient safety and efficiency during surgical procedures in a high-performing academic medical center.
Requires a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, and NBSTSA certification. Candidates must have three years of experience, BLS certification, and registration with the Virginia Board of Medicine.
Contract Surgical Technologist Certified Varies by assignment MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduated from an CAHEEP or ABHES accredited by CAHEEP/ABHES OR NCCT Approved program.
Three years of experience required.
BLS required. Certified to practice as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting). Current Registration with Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire.

Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
