Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and privacySupport residents' mobility by helping with ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devicesProvide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging them in conversations and activitiesAssist in serving meals and feeding when necessary, ensuring proper nutrition and hydrationMonitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptlyMaintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties and following infection control protocolsFollowing individualized care plans for residentsEncourage and support residents' independence and autonomy whenever possibleAssist with prepping and escorting residents for appointments or community activitiesRespond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, following established protocolsDocument resident care activities, observations, and interactions accurately and in a timely mannerCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for residentsParticipate in ongoing training and education to enhance caregiving skills and knowledgeAdhere to all company policies, state regulations, and HIPAA guidelines to maintain resident confidentiality and safety QualificationsEssential Qualifications:Demonstrated proficiency in assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.Proven ability to safely assist clients with ambulation and mobility, both within the facility and during external appointments or activities.Extensive experience in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) tasks, including but not limited to:Housekeeping and maintaining a clean living environmentBed-making and linen managementMeal service and assistance with feeding when requiredPersonal laundry managementAssistance with showering, toileting, and personal hygieneSupport with dressing and undressingOral care and hair careSafe transfers and ambulation assistanceThorough understanding and strict adherence to resident service plans.Exceptional observational skills with the ability to identify and promptly report any changes in resident condition or safety concerns to medical technicians and supervisors.Comprehensive knowledge of Title XXII regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance at all times.Required Attributes:Maturity and professional demeanor in all interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.Positive attitude and unwavering commitment to resident care and well-being.Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams.Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned, based on daily activities and resident needs.The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, empathy, and a strong work ethic, dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in our assisted living community.Additional InformationGreat teamwork!
