• This job is ON - SITE.
• FTE: 0.900000 Standard Hours: 36.00 Shift: 2nd Shift Details: Covering North Hills, Tosa and Town Hall Health Center.
• Hours of operation are 8am to 8pm and will cover these times based on shift.

Weekends

• Roughly every third weekend at
• NH or
• Tosa from 8am to 4pm
• Holidays: Roughly 2 holidays each year

Summary

A Medical Lab Scientist and Medical Lab Technician perform laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. Our laboratory professional is responsible for quality control instrument maintenance and specimen procurement and processing. Other duties as assigned. (u-s)

Medical Lab Scientist Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science is required within 60 days of hire. Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required within 6 months of hire.

Medical Lab Tech Qualifications

Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology including an internship at an affiliated laboratory from an accredited institution is required within 60 days of hire. MLT (ASCP) certification is required within 6 months of hire.
