Job Description

• The Family Practice/Medicine Physician will provide medical care to pediatrics through geriatrics, including examine, diagnose, prevent and treat, illness, disease and injury.
• The physician will examine or conduct tests to provide information on medical status, analyze records, reports, test results, and/or examination to diagnose medical condition of patient, prescribe and administer treatment, therapy, medication and/or vaccination.
• The physician will explain diagnosis, procedures and discuss test results on prescribed treatments with patient and advice patients concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• The physician will collaborate with other physicians and mid-level providers.
• The physician will participate in medical and interdisciplinary clinical committees.
• The physician may participate as a preceptor for medical and nurse practitioner students.
• The physician will perform other job related duties as required by departmental needs and demands.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of accredited residency program
• Board certified or Board eligible
• Valid CA state license, DEA and BLS
• Ability to work well with others in a professional manner in a team oriented environment
• Knowledgeable of, competent and compliant with Electronic Medical Records
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable
• Valid CA driver’s license, access to an automobile and state-required auto liability coverage

• Annual Salary $240,000 to $250,000
