Responsible for filling and dispensing prescriptions using automation and performing IV admixture compounding, including chemotherapy agents. Provides customer service by addressing patient concerns in person and over the phone.
Must be a CPhT certified technician registered with the State of Washington or hold an active ExCPT or PTCB certification. Requires at least one year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the United States.
A-Team Solutions LLC is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a full-time contract position in the outpatient pharmacy at the VA Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Coverage is needed for varying day shifts M-F, with occasional weekends.
Duties: and Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for prescription preparation that includes but is not limited to: filling and dispensing prescriptions using automation, cart filling, automation replenishment, compounding IV admixture including chemotherapy agents, and for answering patients’ concerns in person and on the phone and fulfilling customer service needs.
