Provide behavioral therapies, individual, and group counseling to the MOUD population within correctional facilities. Ensure smooth community transitions for patients to optimize treatment retention and minimize relapse.
Requires a Master's degree in a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of supervised experience, or a recognized certification with 4,000 hours of supervised counseling. Must have experience in mental health counseling, diagnosis, and crisis intervention.

Provides behavioral therapies to the MOUD population who are detained, in accordance with Correctional Psychiatric Services [CPS] and your respective County Sheriff’s Office policies and regulations, as well as in accordance with ethics and standards of staff member’s discipline. In addition, provides individual and group counseling to MOUD patients and ensures a smooth transition into the community to optimize treatment retention and minimize relapse.
$35.00 per hour
Responsible for completing appropriate documentation in accordance with 105 CMR 164 for all patient contact visits. Interrelates and works effectively with other MOUD staff, mental health services staff, medical personnel, CPS administration, inmates, and outside support agencies. Maintains a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors in accordance with CPS/County established policies and procedures. Participates fully in all site-based performance improvement activities in accordance with job responsibilities. Promotes effective working relations as part of a department/unit team to facilitate the department/units to meet its goals and objectives. Attends required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards. It is an essential part of the job that CPS can ask the employee to work beyond his/her regularly scheduled hours. Follows all security rules and regulations. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Conducts intakes and assessments for Opioid Use Disorder, Severe patients. Pre-screens patients interested in MOUD services to assess if they are clinically appropriate for the program. Provides individual and group counseling, treatment planning and discharge planning. Engages in regular individual and group supervision, in addition to staff meetings and various meetings warranted based on the needs of the program.
