The Physical Therapist Assistant implements treatment plans established by a licensed PT to help patients achieve functional goals. They are responsible for monitoring patient progress, fitting supportive devices, and documenting clinical notes.
Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas and have graduated from an APTA-approved program. A minimum of two years of applicable experience is required.
The Physical Therapist Assistant is a qualified professional under the supervision of a qualified PT who performs services planned, delegated, and supervised by the PT, assists in preparing clinical notes and progress reports and participates in educating the patient and family and in in service programs.
Education and Qualifications Required: Licensed or eligible for license in the State of Texas Graduated from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association Two (2) years of applicable experience
