Position Details

Location: Virginia Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary We are looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join a remote clinical care team serving clients in Virginia. The LMFT in this role will provide therapy through telehealth, helping clients better understand patterns in their relationships, manage emotional stress, and work toward healthier communication and coping strategies. The work is practical, client-centered, and consistent. You will conduct sessions, document care, adjust treatment plans, and provide professional support to clients navigating family strain, marriage concerns, conflict, stress, and major life changes. This role is designed for a therapist who wants to work remotely while still maintaining a strong clinical presence with clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled telehealth therapy sessions with clients in Virginia Provide therapy for couples, families, and individual clients when clinically appropriate Assess presenting concerns and gather relevant clinical history Build treatment plans that reflect client goals, relational context, and ongoing needs Help clients identify communication patterns, conflict cycles, and emotional triggers Use appropriate clinical interventions within the LMFT scope of practice Keep client records, progress notes, and treatment updates current Maintain privacy and professionalism during all virtual appointments Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license in Virginia Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families Strong understanding of family systems, relational patterns, and behavioral health treatment Comfortable providing services through a remote telehealth platform Ability to complete documentation accurately and on time Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment $115,000–$120,000 per year Full-time remote position Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Full benefits package Stable telehealth work environment Take the next step in your LMFT career with a remote role that allows you to focus on consistent, high-quality therapy for clients who need steady clinical support.
