Assists licensed physical and occupational therapist, physical, occupational therapy assistants, and students in all aspects of treatment in order to maximize each patient’s functional ability. JOB DUTIES Transfers and transports patients in a safe and timely manner While under direct supervision of the treating therapist, the rehabilitation aide will assist with direct patient care relative to patient’s age, culture, and condition Communicates verbally and in written form with therapists, assistants, students, customers, volunteers and other aides to maintain efficient workflow. Maintains linen, disinfects equipment, sterilizes equipment, and tracks reusable supplies. Maintains clean working environment. Receives, distributes, and restocks supplies. Performs related duties as required. Files, answers and makes telephone calls, performs departmental copying.
