The Substance Use Counselor provides compassionate individual and group counseling to patients recovering from opioid use disorder. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and managing patient documentation and aftercare.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social or health services is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Candidates must be eligible for certification through Addictions Professional of South Carolina and have experience in addiction recovery settings.
