The Patient Care Assistant provides basic direct patient care as delegated by clinical professional personnel. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and visitors.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with proficiency in AHA CPR and specific nursing aide or acute care training. Candidates may also be students from an accredited RN program who have completed a medical surgical rotation.
