The Surgery Aide provides indirect patient care to perioperative patients across all age groups. The role involves supporting the Baptist Health System's mission and completing established position competencies.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and candidates must possess an active healthcare provider BLS certification. Prior hospital experience as a surgical attendant or nursing assistant is preferred.

The Surgery Aide indirectly provides patient care to perioperative patients along the continuum of the age spectrum following established practices and standards. Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
