The CNA provides basic patient care and support services as delegated by licensed nurses, including assisting with personal hygiene and daily activities. Responsibilities also include monitoring vital signs, recording intake and output, and reporting changes in patient conditions to medical staff.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant course or military equivalent. Required certifications include a valid CNA license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
