The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing radiological tests and film exposures while ensuring compliance with OSHA, ODH, and ACR guidelines. The role involves handling sensitive patient information and managing high volumes of tasks efficiently.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, be a graduate of an accredited radiographic technology course, and hold a State of Ohio license and CPR certification. Experience in a hospital or physician's office is preferred.
Summary of Position The Radiology Technologist (RT) is responsible for performing radiological tests and film exposures, for providing OSHA guidelines and surveillance, for compliance with ODH (Ohio Department of Health), and if applicable, the ACR (American College of Radiology). Nature and Scope The Radiology Technologist discretely handles a high volume of confidential, sensitive and personal information on a daily basis. The person ensures that priorities are met, delays are minimized, and resources are used to accomplish all tasks efficiently.
