The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced healthcare services including the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with state regulations.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in nursing and a current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arkansas. A minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience and CPR certification are also required.
Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
