The role involves managing scheduled and hospitalized patients requiring DACVS intervention and participating in hospital rounds. The surgeon will collaborate with referring veterinarians and the TVES team to provide exceptional veterinary medicine and expand the surgery service.
Candidates must be a Board Certified Surgeon (DACVS). The ideal candidate is committed to evidence-based practice and interested in supporting clinical trials and staff training.
We are looking for a Board Certified Surgeon who wants to help expand our Surgery service at TVES. This role involves participating in hospital rounds, managing a combination of scheduled and hospitalized patients in need of DACVS intervention, and working collaboratively with our referring veterinarians and the TVES team to provide exceptional veterinary medicine. We are looking for an individual who loves to learn and is constantly challenging and changing practices based on new evidence. With additional specialty support, we hope to expand our ability to perform clinical trials at our facility, further train and support our VTS aspiring LVTs, and continuously improve our in-hospital protocols.
