The intern will apply classroom theory to practical experience focusing on child foster care, adoption, and community-based services. Responsibilities include meeting academic learning objectives, maintaining client confidentiality, and interfacing professionally with diverse clients and coworkers.
Candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, or a related field. A valid driver's license and the ability to build relationships with diverse communities are required.
Description Nexus-Kindred in Waite Park, MN is looking to add an undergraduate/bachelor level Social Work Intern to our team!
The internship is approximately 32 hours a week. This internship will be supporting the 2026 fall semester.

Our Social Work Intern is responsible for applying learned classroom theory with on-the-job practical experience in the assigned program while ensuring the applicable Academic Program and Academic Institution’s learning criteria are satisfied. Intern shadowing, training, and responsibilities will focus on child foster care, adoption and community-based services.
