The specialist serves as the primary contact for behavioral health consultations, conducting assessments and developing Behavior Support Plans. They provide training and coaching to stakeholders while monitoring and revising interventions to ensure positive outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a clinical psychology or social work field, or be a BCBA or licensed mental health counselor in New York State. Additional requirements include a valid NY driver's license, CPR certification, and the physical ability to handle emergency situations.
Hourly Pay Rate: $32-$35
Serves as a primary point of contact for program needs in need of behavioral health consultation Completes behavioral assessments, related Behavior Support Plans, and other behavioral interventions as needed. Provides training, modeling, and coaching to stakeholders in the implementation of behavioral interventions. Monitors & measures outcomes of interventions both new and existing, and revises/implements planning, data collection and training approaches as needed to facilitate positive outcomes.
