• What you'll do: Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines Record time spent performing individual treatments, in accordance with ancillary services policy, on the medication/treatment record Ensure proper storage and security of drugs and biologicals in accordance with facility policies and procedures Notify the physician of refusal of medication/treatments, non-compliance with a treatment plan, and resident response to medication regime with prompt notification to the physician of any adverse reactions Keeps medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat, clean, and medication stored properly/disposing Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing personnel, as required Practice, implement, and supervise Infection Control, Universal Precaution, and safety policies and procedures
