The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive professional care by assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans. Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating admissions and discharges, and acting as a charge nurse.
Candidates must have a nursing degree and a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut. CPR certification is required within three months of employment, and a Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
Temporary practice provisions for graduate nurses as outlined by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health and Board of Examiners for Nursing.
