Responsible for processing prescription orders, compounding medications, and assembling patient supplies under pharmacist supervision. Additionally, the role involves maintaining pharmacy cleanliness, performing quality control, and coordinating patient scheduling and insurance verification.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and active registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. PTCB or NPhTA certification is preferred and must be completed within one year of employment.

We are looking for a pharmacy technician who is responsible for assisting with processing of prescription orders, labels, creation of compounding records, delivery tickets and the assembly of patient supplies and equipment under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The pharmacy technician also assists with quality control, maintenance, and cleaning of the pharmacy work areas, as described in the Pharmacy Policy and Procedures Manual, and performance improvement activities as directed by the pharmacy manager.
