The Medication Coordinator manages medication plans and provides education on side effects for clients with serious mental illness. They are also responsible for transporting clients to medical appointments and ensuring proper follow-up care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a four-passenger vehicle with active insurance. Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their therapeutic effects is required.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
What to expect.
This is a direct service position requiring general knowledge of serious mental illness and specific skill in rehabilitation with persons with disabilities. The position requires knowledge of medication management. This is an hourly position. The Medication Coordinators are supervised by the Program Supervisors, with clinical supervision provided by a manager.
