The provider works under physician supervision to deliver healthcare and patient care management within a correctional facility. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and managing medications as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a valid Florida license and ARNP/PA certification. A DEA license and up-to-date CPR certification are required, along with the ability to pass a criminal background check and NPDB screening.
The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management. Available Shift - M-F 8am - 4:30pm Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
