Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor | Remote Therapy Position in Maryland Location: Maryland Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary A growing behavioral health organization is seeking a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to provide remote counseling services to clients throughout Maryland. This role focuses on helping clients understand their challenges, work through emotional concerns, and make practical progress toward healthier functioning. As an LCPC in this position, your workday will center on virtual therapy sessions, clinical documentation, treatment planning, and ongoing client support. You will provide professional counseling to individuals who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, stress, burnout, family concerns, or major life adjustments.
Conduct scheduled virtual counseling sessions with Maryland-based clients Evaluate client concerns, presenting symptoms, clinical history, and treatment needs Create individualized care plans with measurable goals Provide therapy using clinically appropriate interventions Document progress notes, updates, and treatment changes in a timely manner Identify clients who may need higher levels of care or additional resources Maintain professional communication with clients and care team members Protect client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and professional standards Keep therapy sessions structured, client-centered, and goal-oriented Stay current with Maryland counseling laws, telehealth expectations, and ethical requirements Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field Active Maryland LCPC license in good standing Previous experience providing therapy to adults, families, couples, or diverse client populations Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms Strong documentation, assessment, and treatment planning skills Knowledge of HIPAA, clinical ethics, and state counseling regulations Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency $115,000–$120,000 per year Full-time remote position 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Monday–Friday schedule No commute Supportive clinical environment Stable caseload structure Take the next step in your counseling career with a remote LCPC role built around professional clinical work, reliable scheduling, and strong support.
