Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW | Remote Mental Health Therapist, Kentucky Job Summary We are recruiting for a full-time Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide online mental health therapy for clients in Kentucky. This role is focused on direct clinical care: meeting with clients, understanding their needs, supporting treatment goals, and helping them navigate real challenges in a safe and professional telehealth environment. The ideal candidate is an LCSW who can balance strong clinical skills with organized documentation, thoughtful communication, and consistent follow-through. You will be part of a modern telehealth care model where clients can access therapy from home while still receiving structured, high-quality support.

Responsibilities

Provide virtual therapy sessions for clients presenting with emotional, behavioral, and life stress concerns Complete intake assessments and identify client needs, strengths, risks, and treatment priorities Build treatment plans that are specific, measurable, and tailored to each client’s situation Help clients develop coping strategies, improve self-awareness, and work toward healthier patterns Track client progress and make clinical adjustments when goals, symptoms, or needs change Complete clinical notes and required documentation within expected timelines Maintain professional standards for confidentiality, safety planning, and ethical care Use telehealth tools appropriately and help clients feel comfortable in the online therapy process Communicate clinical concerns clearly when additional support or escalation is needed Follow all applicable Kentucky licensure, HIPAA, and organizational requirements Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW license in Kentucky Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program Minimum of 1 year of clinical counseling or therapy experience preferred Experience providing therapy to adults, families, couples, or diverse client populations Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and online documentation tools Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and time management Ability to work independently while following clinical and ethical guidelines Must have a private, professional remote workspace and reliable internet connection $115,000–$120,000 per year Full-time remote position Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Full benefits package Telehealth-based role with no in-office requirement Supportive clinical structure and administrative resources Take the next step in your clinical social work career by joining a remote care team that values organized therapy work, professional standards, and strong client support.
