The RN provides professional care to a group of patients using the nursing process, implementing care plans, and ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient discharge.
Candidates must be a Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois and hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA. A college diploma in Nursing is required.
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the utilization of the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial and human resources within the philosophy of the institution.
