Provide care for the comfort, safety, and personal needs of pediatric patients while maintaining a recovery-oriented environment. Responsibilities include teaching life skills, performing clinical documentation, and utilizing de-escalation techniques to prevent harm.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience as a healthcare student or in a comparable healthcare environment. Must be at least 18 years old and obtain BLS and Safety-Care Specialist certifications.
Schedule: 12p-12a, Thurs/Fri/Sat

A Brief Overview Provides care for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients, acts as an advocate for the needs and rights of patients, provides empathic, active listening skills, engagement and support, case management and ensures a recovery oriented environment throughout the unit. In addition, provides indirect unit support needs related to supplies and equipment.
